Privacy Policy

247converter ("we", "us") provides free online file conversion tools. This page explains, plainly, what happens to your files and your data when you use the site.

Your files

Many tools on this site (such as Merge PDF, Split PDF, PDF to JPG, JPG to PDF, and PDF to Text) run entirely inside your own browser. For these tools, your files are never uploaded anywhere — they never leave your device.

Some tools (PDF to Word, Word to PDF, PDF to Excel, PDF to PowerPoint, Compress PDF, HTML to PDF, and Markdown to PDF) require real server-side processing. For these, your file is uploaded, converted, and then automatically deleted from our server within about an hour. We do not keep copies, back them up, or share them with anyone.

Information we collect

You do not need an account to use this site, and we do not ask for your name, email, or any personal details to convert a file. We do not sell your data.

Like virtually every website, our server automatically receives standard technical information with each request — such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested — as part of normal web traffic. This is used only for security and keeping the site running, never to identify you personally.

Cookies and advertising

This site does not use its own tracking or analytics cookies. If ads are shown (via Google AdSense), Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technology to show ads that are more relevant to you. You can learn more about how Google uses this information, opt out of personalized ads, and manage your preferences at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. If we ever add our own analytics, we'll update this section first.

Your rights

Because we don't require accounts and don't collect personal information to use the tools, there's generally nothing tied to you for us to access, correct, or delete beyond the standard technical logs described above. If you're in the EU/UK or elsewhere with data protection rights and have a question or concern, contact us below and we'll address it.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
